Global Sourcing Sales Training-Testimonial

Testimonial by Heiko Schwidrogitz (GCEMA) who attended the Global Sourcing Sales Training in India: 

I would like to share with you my experience and result of my visit to India. I went there with the target and hope:

  • To improve my personal trust in our offshore capabilities.
  • Get arguments about our competitiveness.
  • To improve the hit rate as too much deals go lost on price in the past.

 

 

I had several concerns in mind:

  • Transitions are not easy.
  • Tooling is not working as it should.
  • Difficult communication.
  • Local managers in difficult situation
    having responsibility for the local utilization.  
  

I asked myself if it is worth the long trip. And today I can tell you I experienced India as you are only able to do it by going there. I felt the power and dynamic of the country, the Indians and our Atos Origin colleagues. And I felt what is going on there will change the future.
