LEAN is a key business enabler of Atos Origin’s global transformation program with the aim of using LEAN management techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste from processes and methodologies. Atos University’s LEAN Academy has been established with the objective of up-skilling individuals in the application of LEAN methodologies. This will be achieved via a blended learning approach that incorporates both elearning and classroom-based sessions, in addition to post-learning support. Four levels of training are available:

For anyone who wants to understand what LEAN is about and how it is implemented in Atos Origin. This course is a pre-requisite for the other LEAN courses.
LEAN Navigator:
For people who will be expected to deliver and support LEAN activities
LEAN Skipper:
For people who will become full-time LEAN project leaders
LEAN Commodore:
For leaders in areas impacted by LEAN programs

LEAN capabilities will be built through on-the-job experience and LEAN updates. Participants who attend and complete LEAN learning sessions will form a professional network able to collaborate, coach, mentor and offer knowledge resources.

Costs:
The training itself and the costs for the trainers are being covered at a Corporate Level. You need to cover your own travel & accommodation costs and have the budget approved by your own manager.
