Who is Atos University for?
All training and development at Atos Origin now comes under the umbrella of Atos University, which means it is for everyone who works with the company at all levels. The University comprises a number of function-specific academies, as well as offering more generic training in a number of areas, including soft skills and English Language. Talent Management and the Olympic Certification Program also fall under the University’s remit, so basically it is for everyone looking to develop their skills and move forward in their career.

Who should attend and how can I apply?
Different programs are aimed at different target audiences. You should check out the information available on the website for the program you are interested in a module and if you qualify, you must first contact your business unit manager and, once you have gained approval, arrange a session with your local training and development manager [add link to list of T&D managers]. There some programs that are mandatory for some functions, for example, individuals whose day-to-day work is wholly sales-related must take part in a certain number of training modules from the Sales Academy. Registration is possible by speaking with your local training and development manager.

Is Atos University open to external people?
No, at the moment it is only open to Atos Origin Group employees. We invite clients for speaker opportunities, but not as participants.

How do I register?
Registration is only possible via your local training and development manager.

Do I need my manager's approval?
Yes, in order to get the budget approval for participation, and accommodation and travel costs (if required).

Is there a selection process?
Yes, your manager and/or local training and development manager are responsible for approval of all training sessions and will work with you to ensure you only register for programs they deem suitable to your skills level and goals.

Certification
What is Certification?
The certification process differs for each academy. Click here to find out about certification in each Academy. (Sales / Project Management)

Is participation a part of my performance appraisal?
This is decided per country by the head of sales. The company view is that this should be part of the performance appraisal system as this enables you to keep your skills up-to-date, however it depends on the local situation.

Content
Which partners or external trainers are involved?
All programs call on the highest caliber of trainers, both from within the organization and elsewhere, including clients, partners, leading industry players and experts. For a list of trainers involved in each Academy click here.

How is the quality and added value ensured?
Working and co-developing modules in conjunction with leading training specialists, renowned external speakers, clients and business schools, ensure the quality of every offering. We also involve internal key speakers to guarantee a strong link with Atos Origin's business. Furthermore, quality will continue to be ensured and modules improved on a continual basis based on the stringent evaluation process in place.

Is there an Alumni program or how can I stay in contact with Atos University colleagues?
There is a dedicated Alumni program, with a monthly online newsletter, entitled AlumniTracker, as well as a dedicated portal, myUniversity.

Logistics
Where do programs and modules take place?
The wide range of elearning modules on offer can be accessed and then undertaken at a time and location convenient to you. Webinars are arranged at different times and classroom sessions are organized in different locations around the world. More information about arrangement of courses can be provided by your local training and development manager.

What is the cost of the program or modules?
Consult your local training and development manager for details of costs associated with different programs and modules .

Do I get an invoice?
Once you have been registered, the invoice will be sent automatically via internal transfer to your local Atos Origin entity.

General information
What is the difference between this University and what our competitors offer?
The unique concept of Atos University is based on tailor-made programs in which we combine external expertise from well-known training institutes and leading universities. Furthermore, we clients are involved in every program offering and participants work with actual case studies.

What is the company's commitment to this program?
Atos University is one of the initiatives of the TOP projects and is fully sponsored by Management. This ensures that we work with agreed plans in order to ensure continuity.

What is the relation to the GOLD Program?
The GOLD program is Atos Origin's leadership development program that provides training on leadership, so-called 'softer' skills, as well as business acumen. It involves a management-sponsored project which may be combined with Project X that forms part of the Advanced Sales Professionals program.

What is the relation with the Talent Management program?
Atos University forms part of the Talent Management track within the TOP program. As such, it is part of HR and Global Sales & Markets to ensure a good mix of practical learning experience. On the application form you are required to fill in the name of your HR manager and line manager.

What is the Olympic Participant Certification?
An internal Olympic Participant Certification program has been created in order to open industry-leading practices specifically utilized by the Olympic Games projects. The program is aimed at Business Development, and Sales & Marketing staff. It includes discussions centered on program management, Olympic technologies and applications, risk management, IT security management, systems integration, operations/rapid IT deployment/software distribution, and knowledge management.
