Your introduction to Atos Origin
Your Introduction Program
Whenever you take up a new role in Atos Origin you will be given an introduction program. This will be defined in consultation with your new line manager and will be tailored according to your needs. If you are joining Atos Origin for the first time then you will need a program that will provide you with an understanding of the organization and its culture, as well as dealing with any developmental aspects linked to your specific role. If you have just changed roles within Atos Origin you may have development needs to help you achieve the desired performance level in the new role.
When your specific needs have been identified, you should reach an agreement with your line manager on a formal action plan to meet those needs. The solutions to your development needs can vary enormously and should not be limited to instructor-led training.
The introduction program should occur within the first three months of your employment in the new position.
At the end of the introduction program, the immediate impact of the development should be formally reviewed including a self-assessment and an assessment by your line manager. The results should be discussed with your line manager and a further developmental action plan will be devised. Once a development plan has been agreed with your line manager it is then your responsibility to ensure that this plan is implemented. The process will be repeated once a year or more frequently.
